Hi there!

My name is Kaylah and I am a 23 year old aspiring UX designer based in South-East England. 

I am an Oxford Brookes Law alumni, having graduated in September 2023. 

My design journey began following my final year of university, reaching the end of my studies, I knew that life in law was not for me and that I wanted to travel down a different route.

I first discovered UX design through a YouTube recommendation from Figma.

As such, I was instantly smitten with the world of UX/UI and immediately took to learning more. I began working my way through the google certificate UX design course and various YouTube classes with Figma and udemy to learn further skills.

With growing confidence I eventually opened my instagram page (can be viewed via the top right corner) where I showcase my designs, through this I have formed invaluable bonds with fellow designers, where we continue to learn and inspire each other every day.

In terms of real world experience, I have been undertaking a 3 month hybrid internship with a stealth start up company based in London. Through this I have had the opportunity to conduct primary research, alongside build wireframes and prototypes.

I am passionate about providing modern, seamless and accessible designs, ensuring user inclusivity and consideration. Through all my designs, it is vital to me that the user comes first.

Outside of UX/UI, I am a passionate photographer, hiker, video editor and book worm.
